Access to Information and Service
Accessibility Statement for Columbus, OH Customers
D&C wants visitors to be able to understand the services, reach the business, and report a barrier using a public contact method.
WCAG 2.2 AA Implementation Target
The Website's Accessibility Commitment
The site is designed for keyboard use, readable reflow, visible focus, reduced motion, clear headings, and descriptive alternatives.
Measures Included in This Build
The implementation targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It includes a skip link, semantic headings, keyboard-operable navigation and FAQ controls, visible focus, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support, descriptive image alt text, accessible color contrast, labeled links, and nonvisual business contact alternatives.
Zoom, Reflow, and Motion
Pages are intended to reflow on small screens and remain usable at increased browser zoom without forcing a desktop-width layout. Visitors who request reduced motion through their device settings receive shortened transitions and a nonmoving trust strip.
Third-Party Content
The contact form, map, and Google review widget are third-party iframes. D&C does not control every label, error, focus behavior, or accessibility change inside those services. Phone, email, and a direct Google listing link remain visible so visitors are not limited to the embedded content.
Report an Accessibility Problem
Email dedantaylor5@gmail.com or call (614) 632-8122. Describe the page, the problem, the assistive technology or browser if relevant, and the contact method you prefer for a response.
Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time claim. Reports should be reviewed, reproducible issues should be corrected where the business controls the code, and vendor limitations should be communicated with an alternate way to receive the same service.
